Police Col. Randy Glenn Silvio, Laguna police director, in a report to Police Regional Office 4-A chief Police Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces, identified the suspects as alias “Danilo,” “Ronnel,” and “Roxanne,” residents of Calamba City, Laguna. Police Lt. Col. John Eric Antonio, chief of the Cabuyao police, the City Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation at around 2:18 a.m. in Barangay Banlic. Suspects were arrested after they sold suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer. They yielded four plastic sachets of shabu weighing 42 grams valued at P480,000, a caliber .38 handgun and ammunition, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust money. Pieces of evidence will be submitted to the Crime Laboratory for forensic examination. Suspects are in the custody of the Cabuyao police and facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
