2 persons nabbed in shabu buy-bust in Pateros

The Pateros police arrested a man and a woman tagged as high value individuals (HVI) in a buy-bust operation on June 22.  Joint operatives from the Pateros police’s Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and Intelligence Section conducted the operation on Captain Musni Street in Barangay Sta. Southern Police District chief Brig. Gen. Kirby John Kraft identified the arrested suspects as Rolando Dela Peña, 36, and Jennifer Rigby, 31. The police said the two are HVIs.  Seized during the operation were eight plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing three grams with a value of P20,400 and two P100 bills used as buy-bust money.  The suspects were taken to the Pateros police station and will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
