Rubiano said the city government is proud of the team of Senior Fire Officer (SFO)3 Mary Jane Santos, SFO1 Josie D Alcala, SFO1 Roy Angelo Salen, SFO1 Rezmond F Germino; Fire Officer (FO)3 Norman Vincent F Fallaria, and FO1 Mary Cris S Escuro for helping the man who became unconscious due to an accident that occurred along C6 San Mateo Bypass Road.

The mayor said the firefighters were on their way back to their office at around 5 p.m. after attending a three-day seminar at the Emergency Center (ECO) in San Mateo, Rizal.

SFO1 Germino, chief of Pasay-BFP Public Information Office (PIO), said they were caught in heavy traffic  when they saw the man lying unconscious on the pavement.

Germino said their team members, who are also registered nurses, immediately responded to help the victim.

He said that upon checking and giving first aid treatment, they found that the victim was under the influence of liquor.

The BFP-PIO said the victim, after regaining consciousness, was found to be a person with disability (PWD) which prompted them to immediately call for assistance.

Germino said members of San Mateo Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) responded and brought the victim to the nearest hospital to determine whether he suffered a head injury.
