Binangonan women's group, volunteers take part in greening program of Rizal Province

The women's group of Binangonan town took part in a tree-planting activity as part of its contribution to the greening program of the Rizal provincial government.
The office of Binangonan Mayor Cesar Ynares said the Barkadahan ng Kababaihan sa Binangonan (BKB) led by its president, Dr. Rose Martha Callanta-Ynares, joined other volunteers and employees of the Binangonan Slaughter House, led by Officer-In-charge Narciso Santos, in planting ornamental flowering plants and vegetables in the compound of the Municipal Poultry Dressing Plant at Sitio Bunot in Barangay Lunsad recently.

The greening activity was part of the Ynares to Eco System (YES) to Green Program of the Rizal provincial government coinciding with the foundation anniversary month of Rizal Province.
Earlier in the week, residents of Barangay Lunsad attended a seminar on Integrated Diversified Organic Farming System at the Materials Recovery Facility-Gupiing in Barangay Lunsad to enrich the knowledge and skills of the farmers in organic farming.
Dr. Ynares, wife of Mayor Ynares, also led residents of Barangay San Carlos and other volunteers in a tree-planting activity at the HAPAG Community Garden on Sto. Tomas Road in Barangay San Carlos recently.
