Dolly de Leon to join Nicole Kidman in US TV series
Dolly de Leon is to appear in the second season of Hulu's "Nine Perfect Strangers."
This was announced in an article published on Deadline. The award-winning Filipina actress iss reported to be working with several Hollywood stars in the series, particularly Nicole Kidman, who is also its executive producer. Also in the cast are two-time Oscar nominee Liv Ullmann and Emmy winner Murray Bartlett, among others.
Note that Dolly has also been cast in Amazon Studios' upcoming action-comedy movie "Grand Death Lotto." Dolly made history as the first Filipino actress ever to be nominated at the Golden Globes and the British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA) in a major acting category. The 53-year-old was cited for her role as Abigail in "Triangle of Sadness." She won Best Supporting Actress for the same film at the Los Angeles Film Critics Association and Breakthrough Performance Award at the Middleburg Film Festival. She was also nominated for the same category and same film at Satellite Awards.
