PRC announces mass F2F oathtaking of new electronics and civil engineers, electronics technicians
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, June 21 announced the venues and dates for the in-person mass oathtaking of new electronics technicians, civil engineers, electronics engineers, and professional electronics engineers.
The oathtaking ceremony for the professional electronics engineers, electronics engineers, and electronics technicians will be held in Cebu City on July 2.
Meanwhile, the mass oathtaking for new civil engineers will be in Davao City on June 30.
Participants are asked to bring their printed oath forms with the generated quick response (QR) code to be submitted during the event to confirm their attendance.
Electronics technicians, professional electronics, and electronics engineers inductees should wear formal attires, while civil engineers are mandated to attend in Barong Tagalog or Filipiniana.
Since it is a mass face-to-face mass oathtaking, attendees must bring either a vaccination card, negative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), and antigen Covid-19 test results taken 48 hours before the ceremony.
The PRC also advised successful examinees to register and confirm their attendance in the areas where they took their licensure examination.
For those unable to attend the in-person mass oathtaking, PRC said they may attend the online ceremony or request a special appointment.
PRC noted that the online oathtaking will be announced once the schedule has been confirmed.
After the oathtaking ceremony, PRC said that all inductees must proceed to their initial registration by reserving an appointment at its website starting July 3. (Sonny Daanoy)
