Indigent senior citizens in Las Piñas get help from LGU

The Las Piñas City government continued its distribution of social pensions to indigent senior citizens at the Verdant covered court in Pamplona Tres on Tuesday, June 20.

Vice Mayor April Aguilar, in partnership with the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), organized another successful distribution of social pension funds, demonstrating their unwavering dedication to the well-being of indigent senior citizens in the city. Aguilar, who was present during the distribution, extended financial aid and assistance to elderly residents who are in dire need. The vice mayor’s initiative further solidified the local government's commitment to uplifting the lives of its most vulnerable constituents. Aguilar said the CSWDO played a pivotal role in organizing the event, ensuring that eligible senior citizens received the support they deserve. She said by addressing their urgent financial requirements, the initiative significantly enhances the quality of life for the elderly, underscoring the city's dedication to providing comprehensive support and care.
