3 yield P48-M shabu in Parañaque drug buy-bust

Police seized P48 million worth of illegal drugs from three suspects during a joint drug buy-bust operation on Tuesday, June 20, in Parañaque City.     Southern Police District (SPD) Director, Brig. Gen. Kirby John Brion Kraft, identified the suspects as Normina Nandang Egoy, 38; and her relatives Alfredo,48, and Alvino,47.   Kraft said the suspects were arrested by combined operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Southern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit (SPD-DEU), the Parañaque police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), Sub-Station 6, and other agencies at around 2:30 p.m.   Police confiscated 7.2 kilos of shabu amounting to P48,960,000 from the suspects.  Other items recovered were assorted drug paraphernalia such as a weighing scale, plastics and a lighter; six cellular phones, P500 buy-bust money, record books, bank slips, several financial documents, and ATM cards.   The SPD chief said the suspects have been placed under the custody of PDEA.
