22 drug suspects, wanted persons nabbed in Bulacan


Twelve drug suspects and 10 wanted persons were arrested in a series of police operations conducted by the Bulacan Police Provincial Office on Monday and Tuesday, June 20 and 21.

In a report submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the series of anti-drug busts were conducted on Wednesday, June 21, by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEUs) of Malolos City, San Rafael, Sta. Maria, San Miguel, Guiguinto, and Bocaue police.

The buy-bust operations resulted in the  arrest of 12 drug suspects identified as Renato Nodalo, Angelito Piad, Arvin Santiago, and Jamaica Arguilles, all of Malolos City; Michael Angelo Abigan of San Rafael; Victor Diche of Sta. Maria; Jaymark Villanueva of Sta. Rita, Guiguinto; Edizon Guanzon of Bulihan, Malolos City; Marry Ann Hagonos, Jimmy Ramos and Benjie Amante of Bocaue, Bulacan; and Jerry Dizon alias "Ongdek" of San Isidro Nueva Ecija who is included in the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Watchlist.

Confiscated from the suspects were 34 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated worth of P108,760, drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, 10 persons wanted by law were arrested by virtue of arrest warrants in different pursuit operations conducted on Tuesday, June 20, by the tracker team of the 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Balagtas, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), Norzagaray, Meycauayan City, San Rafael, Balagtas, and Bocaue.

The  suspects were collared for various violations, including rape, reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property and physical Injuries, Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000, slight physical injuries, alarm and Scandal.

Appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects are now being prepared for filing in court, police said.
