2 laborers caught in pot session in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY – Two construction workers were arrested after they were caught having a pot session in a house in Barangay Santo Niño here on Tuesday, June 20. Police identified the suspects as Enrique del Mundo Lucena, 58, of Lower Magsaysay here, and Renato Coroña, 37, of Angeles City, Pampanga and Barangay Santo Niño. The Baguio City Police Office Station 2 received a report from a concerned citizen that a pot session was ongoing at Coroña’s house. Lawmen proceeded to the house with the Barangay Kagawad Melinda Cabaya and Department of Justice representative Prosecutor Sigrid Lacwasan-Canawil. Suspects were caught red-handed and recovered from them were one plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing 0.29 grams worth P1,972, six used aluminum foils, 12 plastic sachets with suspected shabu residue, two lighters, one scissors, one tool box, and one rolled unused aluminum foil. They are facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
