The Pont Neuf was clad in the brand's signature Damier check. As the classical music played, pieces with pixelated camouflage print graced the runway. The 50-year-old hitmaker is known for his unconventional style, which was echoed in his collection through men wearing Mary Jane shoes and skirts. Karts also made their way to the runway carrying piles of Louis Vuitton luggage.

Hip-hop culture is also alive during the show and it was not just in through music. Denim ensembles, tracksuits, and other streetwear pieces bearing the signature Damier check paraded on the runway.

“I think these corporations are waking up, slowly but surely, I think they're understanding that we have flavor and that we have something really interesting to offer,” Pharrell told AFP. “Historically and factually, it's been whitewashed (but) while that's been tough on us historically, it's kind of made it easy when it comes to taste because we bring such a striking juxtaposition. It's striking when you see LeBron James wearing something, when you hear Jay-Z's lyrics, when you see and hear Beyoncé, the energy and voice.”

Toward the end of the show, Pharrell brought the party to the bridge with a pumping gospel number. Preppy style, luxe suits, and coats appeared on the runway adorned with brooches, pearl accents, and embroidery of the brand's logo and floral motif. Apart from the Mary Janes, fuzzy footwear, and eccentric shades, the collection also put a focus on bags. The most notable ones were the Speedy bags made of leather instead of canvas, which come in a variety of colors.

“Here, I knew I wanted to do a couple things: one, I knew I wanted to make my presence known in bags,” Pharrell said to WWD. Earlier this month Louis Vuitton presented its latest campaign featuring the iconic bags with another music star Rihanna. “Bags are very important to me, it’s very important to the house, and what better person to go on that journey with us than my really good friend?” he added.
