Parañaque Mayor Eric honors 31 cops for arrest of rape suspect
Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez recognized 31 policemen for their successful operations against wanted criminals.
Olivarez said honored the policemen under the supervision of Col. Renato Ocampo on Monday, June 19, at the Parañaque City Hall grounds.
He said members of the Parañaque City Police arrested Ramil Habla Jaromamay, 54, who is facing rape charges, on May 5 during the conduct of simultaneous anti-criminality law enforcement operation (SCALEO).
The mayor said members of Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) arrested Jaromamay by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Jaime Mendoza Guray of Regional Trial Court Branch 260 without recommended bail.
Olivarez thanked Ocampo and the whole police force for maintaining peace and order in the city.
The mayor also honored Ismael Allanigue, a veteran from Barangay San Dionsio, who fought during the World War II.
Olivarez said the veteran was awarded with Philippine Liberation Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Plaque of Recognition, and Certificate of Recognition.
He said Allanigue was recognized by the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office and the Department of National Defense.
