Capt. Paul Vincent Pendon, head of Police Station 2, said the teenager whose name was withheld was subjected to the operation after the police learned of her alleged involvement in the illegal drugs trade.

The police found 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000 from the teenager.

Her cohort was identified as Anthony Eppie, 43, of Barangay 12 here.

Pendon said the teenager, who is from Barangay Handumanan, is a high-value individual (HVI), while Eppie is a street-level individual (SLI).

Their arrest came two days after the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU)-Western Visayas confiscated P2.7 million worth of shabu from two men in a drug bust in Barangay 10 on May 31.

Pendon said they will check if the suspects have links or if they all have the same source.
