Mayor Aguilar extends help to family of boy found dead inside washing machine

Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar provided financial assistance from her personal funds to the bereaved family of the 4-year-old boy who was found dead inside a washing machine last May 28. Representatives from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) visited the family of the victim at their home in Barangay CAA on Thursday, June 1, to extend the financial assistance coming from Aguilar. The CSWD offered to the family members of the victim Aguilar’s condolences and assured them of the city’s support. Representatives from the CSWD said Mayor Aguilar gave the financial aid from her own funds in recognition of their present emotional and financial burdens. The mayor also offered cremation and additional support services for the victim at the Las Piñas public crematorium. Last May 28, police found the 4-year-old victim, allegedly tortured and placed inside the washing machine by his own uncle, a 15 year-old boy and an avid follower of American serial killer and sex offender, Jeffrey Dahmer. The victim was reported missing on May 26 and was found on May 28 inside a washing machine covered with books.
