Drug pusher, three clients nabbed in Negros town buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY -- Four drug personalities were arrested in a buy-bust operation at a rented house in Barangay Enclaro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental on Thursday, June 1.

Major Randy Babor, Binalbagan police chief, identified the subject as Jepe Balbon, while the three others were reportedly clients of Balbon, who were caught inside the rented house.

Policemen seized 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, the P500 marked money, and a digital weighing scale from the suspect.

Babor said the operation was conducted after they received information that some people were sighted going in and out of Balbon’s house late in the evening or before dawn.

Balbon is a street level individual (SLI) as he is not included in the police station’s drugs watchlist, according to Babor.

Babor said that Balbon was able to escape a drug bust in the previous years.
