The former FEU Lady Tamaraw will now display her firepower on the hard court following her successful run in outdoor volleyball for three years straight, winning two consecutive SEAG bronze medals with teammate Sisi Rondina.

The last time Pons played an indoor volleyball tournament was with Petron in the Philippine Super Liga where she won an Invitational Cup silver medal, All-Filipino Conference gold medal and a Grand Prix  Conference silver medal in 2017.

She excelled as well in beach volleyball in her collegiate days with FEU, claiming three straight silver medals from Season 78 to 80 in UAAP.

The 26-year-old's fiery playing style could help the Cool Smashers defend their title in the upcoming season.

Pons will be playing under coach Jerwin Meneses alongside Jema Galanza, Tots Carlos, Michele Gumabao and team captain Alyssa Valdez. (MARK MONTEJO)
