QC gov't holds two-week dry run for 'stop-and-go' traffic scheme along Commonwealth Avenue
The Quezon City government conducted a dry-run for the ”stop-and-go” traffic scheme on the eastbound lane of Commonwealth Avenue going to Tandang Sora Avenue to lessen the volume of vehicles on the said thoroughfare during rush hour.
The dry run of the traffic scheme started on Saturday, June 17, and will be conducted from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for two weeks.

According to the city government, the stop-and-go scheme aims to decrease the volume of vehicles going to Visayas Avenue coming from Elliptical Road and those taking the u-turn slot in front of Shopwise, Don Antonio.
Traffic personnel from the local government were deployed in the area to assist motorists.
