PRC sets F2F mass oathtaking for new master plumbers, civil engineers
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday, June 19, announced the venue and date for the in-person mass oathtaking of the new civil engineers and master plumbers.
(PRC / MANILA BULLETIN)
PRC said that the face-to-face mass oathtaking ceremony for the new master plumbers will be held on June 23 in Davao City. For civil engineers, the oathtaking ceremony will be on July 2, in Baguio City. Successful examinees planning to join the in-person oathtaking must register before noon of the day prior to the date of oathtaking at [http://online.prc.gov.ph](http://online.prc.gov.ph/) for attendance confirmation. For the civil engineer inductees, PRC mandated them to wear smart casual or formal attire upon attending the ceremony. Also, PRC required attendees to bring their printed Oath Forms with the generated quick response (QR) code to be submitted during the event to confirm attendance. Since the mass oathtaking will be face-to-face, oath takers must bring either a vaccination card, negative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), or antigen Covid-19 test results taken 48 hours before the ceremony. PRC advised successful examinees to register and confirm their attendance in the areas where they took their licensure examination. For those unable to attend the in-person mass oathtaking, PRC said they may attend the online ceremony or request a special appointment. PRC pointed out that the online oathtaking will be announced once the schedule has been confirmed. After the oathtaking ceremony, new civil engineer inductees might proceed to their initial registration by booking an appointment at its website starting June 3 to 7. However, new master plumbers can start their appointment after the oathtaking program.
