  P6.8-M shabu seized in Masbate buy-bust

CAMP OLA, Albay – Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized suspected shabu worth P6.8 million from a high-value target in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Vicente, Cawayan, Masbate on Monday morning, June 19. Police Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, Police Regional Office-5 spokesperson, identified the suspect as Edgar A. Macasinag. Calubaquib said that the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit-5 and PDEA arrested Macasinag after he sold shabu to a police poseur-buyer. The suspect yielded one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet, one block vacuum-sealed transparent plastic bag wrapped with packaging tape containing shabu weighing one kilo, and boodle money. Macasinag and pieces of evidence are in the custody of the Cawayan Municipal Police Station (MPS).
