On June 18, Biazon’s remains were brought to the Muntinlupa City hall. As the convoy entered Muntinlupa, thousands of residents lined up the streets, holding placards and banners to honor and thank him.

At the main building of the city hall, people lined up from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. to pay their last respects to Biazon, who served as Muntinlupa’s representative from 2010 to 2016.

“Kami po ay nagdadalamhati ngayong mga panahon na ito ngunit sabi nga ‘life goes on.’ There are things that we need to do. Kami po ay nagpapasalamat, kasama si Trina, sa outpouring of support mula sa Muntinlupeno (We are mourning now but as they say, ‘life goes on.’ We, including Trina [Biazon's wife], are grateful for the outpouring of support from Muntinlupeno),” said Mayor Biazon during the flag-raising ceremony at the Muntinlupa City hall quadrangle on June 19.

He added, “Si Papa, o si Tatang, si General, Senator, Congressman ay minahal po ng mga Muntinlupeno (Papa, Father, General, Senator, Congressman was loved by Muntinlupenos).”

The mayor said that coincidentally, his father’s last position in public service was in Muntinlupa, serving as congressman for six years.

Biazon’s remains were transferred to the Senate on June 19 for a necrological service at 10 a.m.

From the Senate, he will be transferred to the Holy Child Chapel of the Philippine Marines headquarters in Taguig.

Biazon will be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig on June 20.
