In its report on Monday, June 19, the health department said this figure is 35 percent lower compared to the total number of cases from June 5 to 11. Fifty-seven of these, or 1.34 percent, are severe and critical cases, while one death was recorded from the same period. Out of the 2,080 Intensive Care Units (ICU) reserved for Covid-19 patients, 346, or 16.6 percent, are occupied, said DOH. Meanwhile, 3,434, or 19.5 percent, of the 17,647 non-ICU Covid-19 beds are in use. DOH then reminded the public to remain alert against the dangers of Covid-19 and continue to adhere to the minimum public health standards under Alert Level 1.
