Carnapper, 3 drug peddlers arrested in Bulacan

A series of police operations conducted by the Bulacan Provincial Police Office led to the arrest of several individuals involved in carnapping and illegal drugs sale.

In a report submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the carnapping incident transpired in front of the victim’s house in Brgy Gayagaya, City of San Jose del Monte (CSJDM), Bulacan on Sunday, June 18. A patrolling unit of the Bulacan 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) responded to the victim’s call and chased the suspect. The suspect, identified as Cyreel Ugali, was eventually arrested in Brgy. Sapang Palay, CSJDM. Recovered from him was the stolen Kawasaki motorcycle with plate number KB-910726. He was placed under the custody of Bulacan 2nd PMFC pending the filing of criminal charges against him. The Angat Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a suspect listed in the Philippine National Police/ Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency drugs watchlist identified as Vicente Quilaquil during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Marungko, Angat, Bulacan on Saturday, June 17. The Calumpit Drug Enforcement Unit also arrested Elvira Carandang and Richard Colonel after they were caught selling suspected shabu to authorities. A total of 10 sachets of suspected shabu were confiscated from them.
