Palace declares June 24 special non-working holiday in Manila
Malacañang has declared Saturday, June 24, a special non-working day in Manila to mark its 452nd founding anniversary.
"WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Manila be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration," Proclamation No. 261 read.
The city government said it has prepared various activities for the Manilans, including pageants, parades, exhibits, and talent competitions to commemorate the founding anniversary.
It also invites locals from nearby cities to visit and catch the exciting activities for the 452nd Manila Day.
