DOH records 726 new Covid-19 cases on June 18

Seven hundred twenty-six new Covid-19 cases were recorded by the Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday, June 18. Photo courtesy of Pixabay
This was the highest number of new cases in the past six days. With that, the latest figure of Covid-19 patients in the country has reached 8,861, a slight decrease from the 9,005 on Saturday. The number of recoveries increased by 870, resulting in a total of 4,083,967, while the total number of deaths remains at 66,482. The bed occupancy rate was 18 percent, meaning 20,767 out of 25,331 Covid-19 beds remain available.
