SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte – The Philippine Franchise Association held a two-day regional franchise exposition in the atrium activity area of Robinsons Place Ilocos here from June 16 to 17.
Dubbed Franchise Negosyo para sa Ilocos, the exposition is part of the Philippine Franchise Association’s (PFA) efforts to promote entrepreneurship via franchising.
PFA President Chris Lim said his group realized the Franchise Negosyo para sa Ilocos exposition following their successful launching of the Franchise Negosyo para sa Davao.
“Through this franchising business exposition, we brought various trusted local brands to the Ilocos that will help create thousands of enterprises and generate more job opportunities in the Ilocos,” said Lim, president of Francorp Philippines, the franchise developer behind franchise mega brands like Jollibee, Potato Corner, and TGP Pharmacy.
More than 30 franchisers joined the event from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Through booths established by participating franchisers, people inquired how they can start their entrepreneurial journey via franchising.
Highlight of the two-day exposition is a seminar on How to Invest in the Right Franchise.
A forum on How to Franchise Your Business was held at the Pavilion Hall of SOLA Hotel here on June 17. The forum featured top franchise consultants of the industry who discussed how to franchise a business and how to grow a stronger and more successful brand through franchising.
“During the seminar, the participants learned the benefits of franchising and what is the right franchise for brands for them,” said Lim.
