High-value drug pusher nabbed with P374,000 worth of shabu in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY – A high-value drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok Neptune, Barangay Singcang-Airport here on Friday, June 16.

Operatives of the City Drugs Enforcement Unit (CDEU) busted Bryan Alvarez, 41, of Barangay Singcang-Airport, with 55 grams of suspected shabu worth P374,000 found from him during the raid. Police Capt. Joven Mogato, CDEU head, said that Alvarez had been under monitoring by the barangay for his alleged involvement in the illegal drugs trade. But, the police, he said, recently received complaints from some residents about his alleged illegal activity, prompting them to conduct their own monitoring for almost two weeks, until they launched the operation against him.
