Members of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office - Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) arrested 10 drug suspects and six wanted persons on Friday, June 16. Â
Based on a report sent to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the drug suspects were identified as Gerald San Jose, 43; Ana Marie Lagunoy, 38; and Edilberto Delos Santos, 56.
The trio were reportedly caught in the act of selling illegal drugs by PIU operatives in Baliwag City, Bulacan.Â
Confiscated from the suspects were one .38-caliber revolver without a serial number, three bullets of caliber .38, 21 pieces of .9mm live bullets, one sling bag, one .9mm pistol, one magazine for 9mm gun, three pieces of heat-sealed shabu with an estimated weight of five grams worth P34,000. Â
Some P41,900 worth of suspected shabu was seized by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) operatives of Bulakan, San Ildefonso, and Bocaue Police from the seven arrested drug peddlers.Â
During manhunt operations, tracker teams from Malolos, Balagtas, San Jose Del Monte Pandi, and Guiguinto Police apprehended six wanted persons.
They were arrested for the cases qualified theft, acts of lasciviousness, and violation of Batas Pambansa Blg. 22Â (An Act of Penalizing The Making Or Drawing And Issuance Of Check Without Sufficient Funds or Credit And Other Purposes), and rape.
