Based on the latest weather update on Saturday, June 17, the state weather bureau said the cloudy weather is due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) or localized thunderstorms. Meanwhile, PAGASA also warned the public of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms over the Philippines. For the wind and coastal water conditions, PAGASA forecasted slightly to moderate winds from Southeast to South to prevail over Visayas and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro with slight to moderate seas. *(Rhowen Del Rosario)*
