Professor Clarita Carlos held a talk recently with law enforcement people and appeared right at home with it. "Here this morning at the 2nd DRD Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development," Carlos, President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s former national security adviser, wrote in a Facebook post. "A very productive conversation on how geopolitical and technological changes will engender changes in the PNP (Philippine National Police) doctrine, education and training and materiel," she said of the discussion. "Always refreshing to exchange views with PNP officials involved in their Research and Development… the core of any and all PNP policies," Carlos added. Carlos, 76, is currently House Speaker Martin Romualdez's chief policy adviser on security and defense concerns.
