2 die in Quezon motorcycle crash

SARIAYA, Quezon – A 27-year-old motorcycle driver and his back rider died after they were run over by a truck on the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Concepcion Palasan here on Saturday, June 17. Police identified the victims as Ryan dela Vega Camacho, 27, of Caloocan City, driver of the motorcycle, and back rider Celeste Noche, 38, of Lipa City, Batangas. Investigation said Camacho lost control of the motorcycle and they crashed on the road. An unidentified truck ran over the victims and left them behind. They sustained injuries and were brought to the Candelaria District Hospital by Sariaya first responders where they were declared dead. Victims were on their way to Lipa City from Lucena City when they figured in the accident. Police are conducting follow-up investigation for the identification and arrest of the truck driver.
