The San Juan City local government announced on Friday, June 16, that it will open a "fiesta bazaar" in celebration of its 16th Cityhood Anniversary and the Feast of St. John the Baptist.
According to San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, the bazaar will open on June 17 to 24 at the Pinaglabanan Shrine, which also houses the city's monuments of three Filipino heroes -- Dr. Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, Emilio Jacinto, and the Spirit of Pinaglabanan, which were all blessed during the celebration of the country's 125th Independence Day on June 12.
The bazaar is open to all small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and aims to promote the local businesses and products of San Juaneños.
The mayor explained that interested participants may register online using the link: [https://bit.ly/MSJFiestaBazaar2023](https://bit.ly/MSJFiestaBazaar2023) or scan the QR code which can be found on his official Facebook page. They may also proceed to the Public Information Department (PID) for additional details on how to avail for slots.
"Antayin ang kompirmasyon ng inyong aplikasyon mula sa PID at kumuha ng permit sa Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) dahil limited slots lamang po ang available (Please wait for the confirmation of your application from the BPLO because there are only limited slots available)," he reminded.
The city government had previously launched bazaars to help its residents recover from the adverse economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
