PH Red Cross urges public to get Covid-19 booster shots

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) urged Filipinos and other individuals needing booster shots to complete the recommended doses to ensure optimal protection against Covid-19. (Philippine Red Cross / Manila Bulletin)
According to PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Richard Gordon, it is essential for everyone to finish the vaccine program. He said that completing the Covid-19 booster doses improves immune system against the virus, protects people, and safeguards health of communities. Gordon added that those who have not received booster injections are encouraged to visit the PRC Logistics and Multipurpose Center (PLMC) in Mandaluyong City. Likewise, PRC Secretary-General Gwendolyn T. Pang urged everyone to make the most of this chance to safeguard themselves and the people they care about. As part of its efforts to assist the government's ongoing national immunization drive, PRC makes booster doses readily available and guarantees their quality. *(Rhowen Del Rosario)*
