Pasay LGU holds bloodletting drive for 'World Blood Donor Day'

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano thanked the City Health Office (CHO) for preparing the bloodletting activity in celebration of ‘World Blood Donor Day" themed “Give Blood, Give Plasma, Share Life, Share Often.” Rubiano also expressed her gratitude to the blood donors and volunteers who joined in the activity. The campaign aimed  to get 50 potential regular blood donors. She urged more donors and volunteers to share their blood to help people who are in need. The mayor said the activity is based on Republic Act No. 7719, referring to the promotion of voluntary blood donation, provision of adequate supplies of safe blood, regulation of blood banks.
