Police said Potot, a glass installer, was the subject of the operation on L. Tudtud St.

The suspects were previously jailed at the Cebu City Jail for theft.

They were released in September 2020 and allegedly got into drug peddling, police said.

The suspects got their illegal drugs through an inmate at the city jail, police said.

They were capable of selling at least 500 grams of shabu a week.

In Barangay Guadalupe, a 40-year-old woman was arrested with 25 grams of suspected shabu worth P170,000, police said.

Sarah Beth Abella was arrested around 11:40 p.m. by personnel of the intelligence unit of the Cebu City Police Office.

Police said monitoring showed that the woman was street-level drug personality.

Investigation will be conducted further to possibly identify the woman’s cohorts, police said.
