Lotto outlet in QC yields new millionaire

A solo bettor from Quezon City hit the P15,840,000 Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) draw on June 15. (Photo credit to PCSO)
A lone bettor, who purchased the ticket in Cubao, Quezon City, guessed the winning digit combination of 19- 03- 45- 22- 42- 32. Meanwhile, PCSO said that because the jackpot prize exceeded P10,000, it will be subject to a 20 percent tax deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.   It also reminded all winners that if prizes remain unclaimed within one year, it will be forfeited to the PCSO Charity Fund, in accordance with Republic Act 1169 or the PCSO Charter. The next Super Lotto 6/49 draw will be on June 18, along with the Ultra Lotto 6/58 and other digit games such as 2D Lotto and 3D Lotto. (Sonny Daanoy)
