15 activists surrender in Nueva Ecija


Fifteen activists from Llanera, Nueva Ecija surrendered to the government on Friday, June 16.

Police Col. Richard V. Caballero, Nueva Ecija police chief, said that members of the Liga ng Manggagawang Bukid (LMB) and the Alyansang Magbubukid sa Gitnang Luzon (AMGL) under the Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) conducted a peace rally as a sign of their withdrawal of support to the communist movement and pledged allegiance to the government.

Their surrender was a product of a special intelligence operation conducted by the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company with the local police and Army.
