Though no official match has been set between the two, Andrade and Loman believe that they are bound to clash in the near future. With that in mind, Loman is making sure he’s ready for that day when it comes.

“Even if there’s no scheduled fight for me yet, training continues. I’ve been working on my weaknesses. I’ve been working on my conditioning and adding strength while polishing my striking,” Loman said.

“There’s already a set program should there be a fight offered, but for now, I’m just training to stay in shape.”

That said, he’s up for the toughest match of his career against the Brazilian who has been on a rampage since making his ONE debut in 2020.

Since his promotional entrance, Andrade has amassed a 6-0-1 record, with five of his six wins ending in dominant fashion.

Loman is wary of the danger that “Wonder Boy” presents, and he acknowledges that Andrade could very well be the most dangerous fighter he’ll face.

“Fabricio Andrade is a very good striker. His reach is impeccable, his boxing is very good, and he has kicks and knees as well. I have to look out for those knees. That’s what he wants to do. He wants to dig deep into the body and then rain down knees on you,” he said.

“He knows how to create distance. He uses his reach to damage his opponents from afar. His timing is good, he’s got quick reflexes. That’s why he gets what he wants in the Circle. That timing, speed, and reach will be something I have to look out for.”

But Loman believes he has certain advantages as well, particularly with his wrestling and ground game.

“The Sniper” showed that in his match against former ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes. He dominated the grappling wizard on the mat, taking him down with ease while swarming his foe from the top for most of the match.

It’s something he plans to do against Andrade.

“On the ground, I think that’s where I have an advantage,” he said.

“Now I’m training my techniques in takedowns and the ground. I’m working on different submissions to add to my ground-and-pound game.”
