BAMID is known to provide assistance for the development of Taiwan's cinema, radio, television, and popular music industries and is subordinate to the Ministry of Culture.

During the visit on June 14, BAMID director Hsiu-yu Yang talked about how Taiwan classifies movies and how viewers can effectively voice their worries, among other topics.

MTRCB, on the other hand, shared its best practices in film classification, emphasizing the importance of classifications in allowing parents and supervising adults to make informed decisions not only for themselves but also for their families.
