Department of Education Bacoor told the Manila Bulletin that classes at all levels in both public and private schools are suspended from 12:00 p.m. onwards.

A Facebook announcement from the local government unit (LGU), on the other hand, says Mayor Strike B. Revilla has directed the cancellation of city hall operations as part of precautions in case of possible aftershocks.

The LGU also advised residents to call the city's Rescue 161 hotline in case of emergency.

Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office told the Manila Bulletin that they are still in the process of inspecting city infrastructure to assess if the earthquake left any damage.

Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said Intensity III (weak) tremor was felt in Bacoor and Imus in Cavite, alongside some parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan, Batangas, Laguna, and Rizal.
