Police operatives arrested three persons in a buy-bust operation in Taguig that yielded suspected shabu and cocaine.
The operation was conducted on J. Ramos Street in Barangay Ibayo Tipas, Taguig on June 14 by a team from the Southern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU), District Intelligence Division (DID), District Special Operations Unit (DSOU), District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Special Enforcement Service (PDEA-SDO), Taguig Police Station Intelligence Division/Drug Enforcement Unit, Taguig Police Substation 5, and the 3rd Special Operations Unit of the Philippine National Police Maritime Group.Â

The police identified the arrested suspects as Jeffrey Bunyi,, 51, tagged by authorities as an alleged high-value individual; Chris Aileen Prangan, 35, and Andrei Dela Cruz, 19, both listed as street-level individuals. Seized from them were four plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing six grams valued at P40,800; two plastic zip lock bags containing suspected cocaine weighing 3.66 grams with a value of P19,398; and P500 bill used as buy-bust money. The suspects were brought to the SPD DDEU office for documentation. They will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). Major Gen. Edgar Alan Okubo, head of the National Capital Region Police Office, commended the teamwork and dedication of all the units involved in the operation.
