Seven St. Paul University-Tuguegarao grads top radiologic technologists licensure exam


Seven graduates of the Saint Paul University-Tuguegarao (SPU-Tuguegarao) excelled in the Radiologic Technologists Licensure Examination results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on June 13.

According to PRC, 385 out of 1,237 passed the Radiologic Technologists.

PRC announced that the following examinees from the SPU-Tuguegarao entered the top 10: Micah Arianne Balandang Casas (1st) with a rating average of 88 percent; Maricris Atienza Luis (2nd) with 87.40 percent; Ma. Millen Aslarona Pagador (3rd) with 87 percent; Elsie Lae Tolentino Gaoiran (4th) with 86.60 percent; Argelene De la Cruz Callueng (7th) with 85.20 percent; and Karenmae Balimbin Esta and Jubelle Valencia Menor (10th) with an average rating percent of 84.60.

Meanwhile, 35 out of 131 passed the X-Ray Technologists Licensure Examination.

The June examinations were conducted in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. 

The test was facilitated by the Board of Radiologic Technology headed by its chairperson Reynaldo Apolonio S. Tisado, together with its members Orestes P. Monzon, Bayani C. San Juan, Ma. Jesette B. Canales, and Roland P. Conanan.

Meanwhile, the schedules for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on Aug. 2-4 and Aug. 7.

According to PRC, the instructions for the initial registration will be available on www.prc.gov.ph

The successful examinees should bring a downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, a notice of admission (for identification only); two pieces of passport-sized pictures (colored with white background and a complete name tag); two sets of documentary stamps; and one piece of short brown envelope upon registration. 

Passers must register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals in person. (Sonny Daanoy)
