PRC sets F2F mass oathtaking for new civil and mechanical engineers, public accountants, plant mechanics
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, June 14, announced the venues and dates of face-to-face mass oathtaking ceremonies for new civil and mechanical engineers, certified public accountants (CPAs), and certified plant mechanics.
According to PRC, the mass oathtaking ceremony for new civil engineers will be held in Bacolod City on June 23.
Meanwhile, the mass oathtaking for mechanical engineers and certified plant mechanics will be on June 17, also in Bacolod City.Â
The mass oathtaking for CPAs will be held in Pasay City on July 6.
Inductees planning to join the in-person oathtaking are required to register before noon of the day before the date of the oathtaking at [http://online.prc.gov.ph](http://online.prc.gov.ph)Â for attendance confirmation.
New civil engineer inductees are required to wear Filipiniana or Barong upon attending the ceremony.Â
For the examinees interested in joining the mass oathtaking, PRC mandates them to bring their printed Oath Forms with the generated quick response (QR) code to be submitted during the event to confirm attendance.
Moreover, since the ceremony will be face-to-face, attendees must bring a vaccination card or negative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) results taken 48 hours before the ceremony.
The PRC also advised successful examinees to register and confirm their attendance in the areas where they took their licensure examination.
For those unable to attend the in-person mass oathtaking, PRC said they may attend the online ceremony or request a special appointment.
PRC noted that the online oathtaking will be announced once the schedule has been confirmed.
After the oathtaking ceremony, PRC said inductees might proceed to their initial registration by reserving an appointment at its website starting June 26 for civil engineers.Â
However, mechanical engineers, and certified plant mechanics, can start their appointment three days after the oathtaking.Â
Lastly, new CPAs may proceed on securing appointments right after the ceremony. (Sonny Daanoy)
