PRC releases radiologic, X-ray technologists special board exam results


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the special licensure examinations results for Radiologic Technologists and X-Ray Technologists on Tuesday, June 13.

Fifteen out of 72 examinees passed the Radiologic Technologists Special Professional Licensure Examination (PLE), while six out of 23 examinees passed the X-Ray Technologists Special PLE.

According to PRC, the top three examinees for Radiologic Technologists Special PLE were Arlene Magnaye Dalangin, Liezel Maliksi Gatdula, and Maria Jean Mira Dollete, all graduates of the Philippine College of Health and Sciences.

The examination was conducted last April 2023 in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Al Ahmadi, Kuwait; Al-Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Doha, Qatar; Manama, Bahrain; and Singapore.

The test was facilitated by the Board of Radiologic Technology headed by its chairperson Reynaldo Apolonio S. Tisado, along with other members, Orestes P. Monzon, Bayani C. San Juan, Ma. Jesette B. Canales, and Roland P. Conanan. 

For the successful examinees who are planning to register, PRC mandates to bring the following requirements: a downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, a notice of admission (for identification only); two pieces of passport-sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag); two sets of documentary stamps; and one piece short brown envelope.

The passers are required to register and sign to the Roster of Registered Professionals in person. (Sonny Daanoy)
