Korean star Song Joong-ki, wife Katy Louise Saunders welcome first baby in Italy

Korean actor and “Reborn Rich” star Song Joong-ki and his British wife, Katy Louise Saunders, are now parents.  Song Joong-ki announced on June 14 that his wife gave birth to their first baby–a boy–in Rome, Italy.  Korean actor Song Joong-ki and his wife, Katy Louise Saunders, are now parents. Song Joong-ki posted a photo of the baby on his fan cafe (Instagram, screenshot from Newsen video) 
“I wonder how everyone is doing. As you all know, I finished filming the movie ‘My Name is Loh Kiwan-Wan. in Hungary. I was honored to go to Cannes with the movie ‘Hopeless.’ I'm still having such a happy day that every moment of the film festival feels like a dream,” said Song Joong-ki in a post on his fan cafe.  He added, “Today, I came to greet you because I wanted to tell you one more dream-like news first.” “I am in Italy now. We welcomed our baby here in Rome, my wife's hometown. He's a healthy son. The baby and the mother are in good health.  I am taking care of my family very happily with a grateful heart,” he added. Along with the letter is a photo of the baby.  He said, “I think that it is the most precious gift that came to us, a couple whose biggest dream is creating a happy family for the rest of their lives. And I think this good day has come thanks to the support from many people. Thank you.” Last Jan. 30, Song Joong-ki, 37, revealed that he and Saunders, 38, registered their marriage with their first baby on the way.  “And today [Jan. 30], we are on our way back after registering our marriage to start our lives as a couple based on deep trust and love,” he announced on his fan cafe.  He said, “Naturally, we wished for the dream of creating a happy family together. We've put in a lot of effort to keep our promises to each other, and thankfully, a precious life has come together between the two of us.” Last February, the couple left for Hungary for the filming of “My Name is Loh Kiwan.”  Last Jan. 30, Song Joong-ki, 37, announced that he and Saunders, 38, registered their marriage with their first baby on the way.  “And today [Jan. 30], we are on our way back after registering our marriage to start our lives as a couple based on deep trust and love,” he announced on his fan cafe.  He said, “Naturally, we wished for the dream of creating a happy family together. We've put in a lot of effort to keep our promises to each other, and thankfully, a precious life has come together between the two of us.” High Zium Studio, the actor’s agency, said the couple will have a “separate wedding. No specific time or schedule has been set yet.”
