Drug suspect yields P116K marijuana in Tanza buy-bust

CAVITE – Authorities nabbed a high-value individual in a buy-bust operation in Tanza on Monday, June 12. Cavite Police Provincial Office identified the suspect as Jovany Maglangit Bael alias Bani, a 24-year-old delivery rider. Seized during the operation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Unit of Tanza Municipal Police Station (MPS) were 967 grams of dried leaves suspected to be marijuana with a street value of P116,040. The suspect is now under the custody of Tanza MPS. The confiscated pieces of evidence, on the other hand, were turned over to Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit for examination.
