The pedestrian outfits worn by the First Couple during its recent weekend visit to former First Lady Imelda Marcos has grabbed the attention of ACT-CIS Party-list nominee Erwin Tulfo.

Tulfo, seemingly impressed by the simplicity he saw from President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, shared the photo he saw of the two on his Facebook wall.

"Di mo agad makikilala si PBBM dahil sa napaka-simpleng suot nito (maong at t-shirt)," the former Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) secretary said, referring to the Chief Executive.

(You won't be able to recognize PBBM immediately because of his very simple outfit, just jeans and a t-shirt.)

As for Araneta-Marcos, Tulfo--a broadcast journalist--described her clothes in the picture as "very casual".

"Tila naka-postura pa rin (pero casual na casual lang ang kasuotan)," Tulfo said of the First Lady's peach-colored button-down dress.

(She looks like she's wearing formal clothes, but it's very casual.)

Imelda Marcos, 93, is the widow of the late former president Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

ACT-CIS Party-list has three seats in the House of Representatives, two of which are officially occupied. It was the top vote-getter during the May 2022 party-list race.

Tulfo is the party-list's third nominee.
