Bulacan police apprehended a man, who allegedly robbed a convenience store, and 17 suspected drug peddlers and wanted persons during a series of anti-criminality operations in the province on Tuesday, June 13.Â
Col . Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, identified the man accused of robbing a convenience store in Iba O' Este, Calumpit as Ricardo Santiago Jr., of Barangay San Jose, Paombong, Bulacan.
According to the report, the suspect, disguised as a store clerk wearing a uniform, entered the store and coerced the crew to open the vault containing money.Â
Santiago Jr. took a total of P99,455 from the vault and swiftly fled from the area

Operatives from Calumpit and Paombong Police and the Provincial Intelligence Branch of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office launched follow-up operations, leading to the arrest of the suspect. Meanwhile, anti-illegal drug operations carried out by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of San Miguel, Malolos City, Marilao, and Calumpit Police also led to the arrest of 10 drug personalities. Confiscated fro them were  a total of 21 sachets of suspected shabu and three sachets of suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money. In addition, tracker teams from San Miguel, City of San Jose Del Monte, Norzagaray, Meycauayan City, Bocaue, and Marilao Police Stations arrested seven persons wanted for various crimes and violations.
