On Wednesday, June 14, DOH said that the donated bivalent vaccines are currently being distributed to its Center for Health Development (CHDs). The DOH CHDs will then disperse the vaccines to selected health facilities in the following days. The health department reiterated that they will prioritize the rollout of the first phase of the vaccine to healthcare workers and senior citizens who already had their second booster shot four to six months ago. The supply of bivalent vaccines is still insufficient, DOH said, but the supply of monovalent vaccines is still enough. On June 13, DOH Secretary Dr. Teodoro "Ted" Herbosa announced that the 390,000 doses of bivalent vaccines donated by the COVAX Facility have already arrived in the country.
