Three persons, including a 15- year-old girl, died while another teenager was wounded when they were shot by four armed men inside their house in Barangay 40, Caloocan City Tuesday night, June 13.
The Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) identified the slain victims as Joel Camarillo, 51; Nilo Balili, 54; and the 15-year old girl. The wounded victim is a 17-year-old girl.
Initial investigation disclosed that the victims were sleeping in their house at No. 19, Barangay 40 at around 11:30 p.m. when the suspects came to the area looking for Camarillo.
Two of the suspects were identified by a witness as alias “Alvin” and alias “Boknoy,”
Moments later, the witness heard multiple gunshots from the victims’ house.
Camarillo and Balili died on-the-spot while the other victims were rushed to a hospital were the 15-year-old girl was declared dead-on-arrival.
The suspects fled towards Rizal Avenue, Caloocan City on board two motorcycles.
The CCPS said that based on the statements of the victims’ family, the possible motive behind the killings was the suspects’ personal grudge against Camarillo.
Authorities are currently establishing the identities and location of the suspects.
The incident is still under investigation.
