Pokwang files petition for deportation and visa cancellation vs ex-partner Lee O'Brian

Kapuso comedienne and actress Pokwang has filed a petition for deportation and visa cancellation against her former partner Lee O'Brian. Pokwang, whose real name is Marietta Subong, was accompanied by her lawyer Atty. Ralph Calinisan. The complaint-affidavit on Pokwang case says that: IN RE: PETITION FOR CANCELLATION OF WILLIAM LEE O’BRIAN’s VISA and HIS DEPORTATION UNDER SECTIONS 23 AND 37 (A)(7) OF COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 613, otherwise known as “THE PHILIPPINE IMMIGRATION ACT OF 1940”

Pokwang also shared on Instagram a glimpse of the case filed against O'Brian. "🙏🏼para sa karapatan ko at ng anak ko, para sa mga kapwa ko babae at sa bayan ko 🙏🏼," she wrote in her caption. Celebrities and netizens gave their full support to the comedienne. Some comments: Pokwang and Lee have been separated for almost two years, but it was only made public in July 2022. In February 2022, Pokwang revealed that O'Brian is now dating another girl. Since then, Pokwang backfired on O'Brian, including the issue that he's not providing financial support to their daughter Malia, 5. On March 2, Pokwang said he was preparing legal papers to remove Malia's last name "O'Brian" and replace it with her surname "Subong." Before filling her case, Pokwang gave her fans a glimpse on her plans on pushing the complaint by posting on Instagram on May 23 a photo of her and Atty. Ralph Calinisan with Malia and her eldest daughter Mae.
